February 23, 2024 3:16 pm

As more of us are holidaying with our beloved pooches in the UK, it’s important that not only does your accommodation cater for your four-legged friend, but also any activities you have planned. Of course, if you are venturing on a country walk you have no issues, but what happens if you want to stop for something to eat and dogs aren’t welcome?

To ensure you don’t end up famished with a hefty walk back to your cottage, we have put together the top-rated dog-friendly restaurants with 4 stars or above from Tripadvisor and also noted which of our lovely holiday homes they are closest to!

Black Swan Inn

Tripadvisor rating 4.5

Atop Seahouses’ infamous harbour is where you will find the homely Black Swan Inn. The Black Swan Inn has recently undergone a restoration and renovation project which has turned Seahouses’ oldest purpose-built pub into an elegant gastropub.

With a fabulous view across the Northumberland Coast, you are sure to enjoy the dishes they have to offer, and why not enjoy a cocktail from one of their in-house mixologists?! Seahouses has many walking routes so make sure to stop off here on your visit.
